dc.description.abstract | The title/theme I have chosen for my research is ‖Oral history of Bericho Community in Hunza‖ which is based on the Bericho (In Brushaski, Doom in Shina) community of Hunza. Hunza is located in the extreme north of Pakistan sharing the border with the Xinjian province of China. This community resides in a small village called Berishal in the District of Hunza (Gilgit Baltistan – Pakistan). The word Berishal means the place where the Bericho community lives. Berishal can be literally called as heart of Hunza because of its strategic location (which I will discuss thoroughly in Area profile) and because of the material they used to make and transport to the whole state of Hunza. | en_US |
