Abstract: Women are playing an important role in household economy. Pakistan is the developing country of the world and hence has to face the issue of poverty and unemployment. Like other developing, Pakistan also made strategies for the solution of such issues. Further, poverty and unemployment are main hurdles in development of the country. As a result, Pakistan made institutions which are working to bring sustainable economic of the country. Such institutions are dedicated to prepare skilled labor and industry. However, technical education and vocational training is one to work for economic development. Alongside this, Government and Non-Government Organizations are also working for the development of skilled labor and industry. Similarly, TEVTA is a government institute which is authorized by the government of Punjab. It is working to provide technical and vocational education to the women. It covers many aspects which are consists of a beautician, domestic tailoring, professional tailoring, khaadi work, handmade embroidery, cooking, and baking. Mostly, the women which are working in the institute belong to lower middle class family. Similarly, the institute provides an opportunity to women with earning opportunities as to contribute in household economy. The key factor behind working in the institution is push and pull factor. To make it possible women face a lot of challenges in the workplace. The current study is focused to highlights issues and challenges of an entrepreneurial woman in the research locale. Most of the women are operating small-scale businesses. These businesses mostly exist in their houses or nearby areas. The study is an attempt to decipher infrastructure of TEVTA and issues faced by working women in the institution. First, the study has explored the agenda and policies of TEVTA, courses of TEVTA, and challenges faced by trainee. Second phase this study has explored the motivational factors which influence on the perception of the women. In a third phase of this study, the issues and challenges faced by women working in entrepreneurship. Ethnographic methods were used to collect the date related challenges face by working woman with emphasized on challenges faced by women in workplace
