Abstract: | TIle differential effects of four mammalian gonado - tropins (oF II, oLII, PMSG and hCG) and a reptilian pituitary extract, on In vitro androgen production by the avian and mammalian testis, have been evaluated. Incubations of chicken testicular tissue and isolated Leydig cells from ~n~ce te s tes were carried out with graded doses of gonado- ~ro~l s nno the extract.
