Species of Coccoidea attack many economically important plants such as coffee, citrus, mango, guava, pears, peaches, almonds, coconuts, banana, bamboo, pine trees and sugarcane, etc. in different parts of the world. In Pakistan about 200 species of Coccoidea infesting fruit and forest trees, vegetables, crops and ornamental plants have been recorded
