Abstract: For the interpretation of the seismic line TJ89‐526, five reflectors were marked based on prominent reflections. These reflector were initially name as R_1, R_2,R_3,R_4 and R_5 but after correlation with the stratigraphic column encountered in well Kadanwari‐01, these were named as Sui Main Lime Stone, Upper Goru, Lower Goru, Sember And Chiltan respectively. Initially time section was prepared, which was converted to depth section to give true subsurface picture. It shows a system of conjugate normal faults, due to overburden these faults were again reactivated and termed as growth faults. Iso‐velocity contour map was generated to show lateral and vertical velocity variations in velocity. In addition velocity changes along a horizon were also observed by making a velocity surface map of important reflectors. Time and depth contour map of the reservoir rock. Three dimensional visualization of the prominent reflectors was done, which showed how formations are stratified in the subsurface. Using well data of Kadanwari‐01, Synthetic seismogram was generated and then correlated with the depth section, which further confirmed initial interpretation. In addition rock properties are also calculated using this data; special concentration was on the porosity of the rocks which further confirmed the reservoir potential of Basal Sand.
