Abstract: | The reseacher deals with the present state of Rokhri site i.e., its description, location, findings, it's cultural relation with other prominent Buddhist and Muslim sites in Punjab and it's pottery. Rokhri site is a potential site which has rendered a good number of pottery, terracotta figurines, precious stones, stucco heads of buddha and coins in previous work done by archaeologists whenever the erosion of river took place. My aim is to fill the chronological gap through pottery analysis and to highlight geographical importance of the site as the site was a Budhhist complex with continous occupation having cultural relations with other. |
