Newly Discovered Inscription & Rock Art Sites of District Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan

Abstract

This survey is comprised in several chapters. It starts with the geographical location of Gi lgitBaltistan region and then the area profile of Skardu district which is the concerned area of the researcher. Then these report further deals with the definition of the rock art, its types and the importance of this art to know about the prehistoric and historic events of the ancient past. This survey also deals with the primary methods used by the researcher to conduct the survey, and the problems faced by him during this survey. Pictures of the undocumented site with their description are also provided in this survey and on last researcher concluded the survey in his own words.
