Abstract: Reservoir characterization using well and seismic data is a renowned technique within the context of hydrocarbon exploration. This study pertains to the interpretation of seismic lines, wireline logs and colored inversion for better visualization of important features at reservoir level. The study area selected for this purpose is Khipro area (lower Indus Basin) Pakistan. The main reservoir rock is sand of Lower Goru of cretaceous age. Shale of Sember is source rock and Shale of Upper Goru acts as cap rock also having cretaceous age. Gassmann’s theory is also applied on the well at different water saturation level, which helps us in the drilling of the development wells in the same zone or formation Amplitude versus offset (AVO) analysis is basically used to determine the class of reservoir (sand) in the reservoir.
