Further, it also aimed to eJPlore that what type of attitude patients faced during their check-ups in public sector doctors. Study was conducted with the help of 200 intervie"ws from indoor patients who were admitted for a week or above in hospital. The respondents were taken into study by using pUiposive sampling. Data was gathered by using interviewing schedule- a self-administered questionnaire. Literature was in support with research requirements, in psychology patients' satisfaction is elaborated in terms of the agreement between the expectations they have and experience with the services they get. By analysing the health care services on the parameters of patients' satisfaction would result in betterment in health sector. Patients ' response can clearly demarcate between the weaknesses and strength of health department. Patients ' involvement can improve the outcome they receive being in contact with doctors. Rogers' theory of Unconditional Positive Regard was applicable on this research and made present study easier. This theory was in accordance with the clinical sample that shows the relation of client and therapist. Though results were satisfactory, yet, amendments are required in major sections of medical staff, most importantly waiting time, and differential attitude of doctors need improvement. | en_US |
