dc.description.abstract | Education plays a vital role in the development of a nation. A nation without education cannot make progress in any field and the progress itself can be presumed by the quality of education. Educated population of a country exhibits the quality of human resource in the country. The expenditures on education are considered as the investment in human resource development. The youth of a nation is the resource of progress and they cannot develop their skills, knowledge, and ability until the provision of quality education. The phenomenon with the third world countries is the unavailability of quality education to their citizens. Two types of sectors are providing education in this regard; one is the public sector, i.e., government and the other one is the private academies. The government of these countries cannot meet the goal of provision of quality education to the whole population subsequent to which the private academies share the burden of government. This research was conducted to explore the role of private academies at higher secondary level. A quantitative research design was used in this research and the student of private academies who are enrolled in government school at higher secondary level, were the target for this research. A purposive sampling technique was used for the data collection and the sample size was 130, the data was further analyzed statistically through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) in tabular form and its descriptive interpretation was done. The results revealed that there is significant relationship between the time spent in academy and merit achievements of the student of private academies. Further to this, the private academies are more likely to provide quality education as compared to government schools. | en_US |
