dc.description.abstractShrine is the sacred place which is associated with any saint or spiritual priest. This is the basic unit of faith of the people of South Asia who visit the shrines to run their desires through the bliss of the sanctuary. These sanctuaries are centers of maximum activity from early until midnight. It attracts the attention of a large gathering of citizens from all over the country. Therefore, the preservation of holy sites is considered an act of public service. Quantitative method of research was conducted in Multan, Pakistan. The Sample size of the researcher was 120 respondents. Convenient sampling technique was used a sample technique. Interview schedule was used as a tool for data collection. SPSS was used as a tool for data analysis. Sufi shrines work in a multidimensional manner, so that the political, social, cultural and economic effects have been and will remain significant. Since time immemorial, the tradition of visiting holy places has been imitated to religious merit, washed away sins and made common practice wishes around the world. The visit is traditionally regarded as sacred sites, places and noble buildings, often equated with purifying the body and mind, and achieving merit.en_US
