Abstract: The studied case history deals with the exploration o.f the marriage patterns o.f Kashmiri cast with some important attributes o.f institutional history. The Kashmiris are a scheduled cast living in Pakistan from the time oj their migration from Jammu and Kashmir bejore the partition oj Indian subcontinent. A sample oj 10 respondents was interviewed in both Taxila and Abbottabad. Ritual theory was used by the researcher to support his objectives and jindings by associating the finding with the concepts described in ritual theory. The Kashmiris traced their historical background from the pre-partition times. Their cast is primarily named as Kashmiris after their jorejathers because their belongings were from Jammu and Kashmir. The procedure starts with the proposal and then it is being fixed up by the mutual collaborations of/he parent and senior closedjamily members. And ajier that the junctions have been decided when to do and how to do. The ceremonies start up with Mehndi or Meerhi and then afterwards Barrat comes up which is the actual day jor the bride and the groom. And after the Barrat, Valeema is being prepared and presented with sizzling jood items and desserts. The Kashmiris considered inter-cast marriages a sign. oj happy life and strong bonding.
