Abstract: | This present study was conducted to understand the dynamics, variables and impact of international migration on the society. The special focus is retained on the female children and families of the person who solely migrated for the sake of good wages. The main focus of this research is socio -economic well being offemale children left behindfamilies. The society has a long history of migration from the primitive times and since its origin. There are several types of migration, but the major two types of migration are international and local level migration. Since the origin of society, individuals are moving from one place to another for the development in their lives and change in the society. The word Migration in Pakistan is very common and all the individuals are movingfrom one place to another for their better future, wellbeing offamily and to achievement of their desired goals. The study further integrated economic well-being with the social structure of the society. International migration is not a recent phenomenon people have been migrated in the past and present era as well. Now question is why people migrated to one place to other place or country. People migrated to other countries because of many push and pull factors force them to leave native country and move to other country. Trend of international migration increasing day by day because the advancement of Globalization and modern technology. Trend of international migration also become popular in Pakistan like other developing countries of the world. The present study was intended to identify link between the international migration and impact of international migration on socio-economic well-being of the female children left behind and explore the relationship between international migration and socio-economic well-being of the female children of the left beinded families .. This research revealed the reality there is positive relationship between the migration and socio - economic well-being of female children left behind femalies.International migration help them to improve their socio-economic life and also help to improve their living standard. The trend of migration becoming popular because it helps to improve living standard and health and education facilities. Data was analyzed through the SPSS and hypotheses were proven. |
