Abstract: | In the recent times Pakistani youth's participation in sports activities has been reduced tremendously. The current study was conducted in the various colleges and universities in Islamabad city to see the major reasons behind such decline in youth's participation in sports activities. The major assumption is increase in the use of smart phones and lesser sports facilities in colleges hinders youth 's participation in the sports. A total sample of 60 respondents was drawn tlu'ough the use of random sampling teclmique. A survey was conducted and data were analyzed tlu'ough the use of SPSS. The results showed that because of the lesser involvement of students in the sports activities they feel more anxiety, burdened, helplessness and some were having increased chances of self-execution. |
