Diffraction of acoustic waves by half planes

Abstract

We have attempted some diffraction problems in the theory of acoustic waves. Firstly, we examine the scattering of acoustic waves by three half-planes due to a line source excitation in still air. The matrix wiener-hopf approach is adopted to solve this problem. The problem is further extended to the case of point source diffraction. Both the problems are then discussed when convection is present. ....................................................................................
