Abstract: The renormalizability of the stand ard eledroweak theory at finite temperat ures and densiti es much below the eledroweak scale at the one loop level in the background of hot and dense leptons have been checked. Moreover, we calcul ate selfmass and charge renormali zation in such a background. Some of the appli cations of these res ults a re also mentioned in this work.
