dc.description.abstract | The product is a 3D board game project based on the realistic and tangible version played in real life, but with some extensions towards exclusive features. The basic concept of the game includes an 8x8 board where the player with the black discs goes first and the discs are to be placed adjacent or next to their oppositely colored neighboring discs in doing so, the player with most discs on the board wins. Additionally, the product is equipped with features that includes the option of selecting to play against another player or against the computer itself. He/she can have a choice of selecting different configurations of the disc’s before commencing the game, this is just to shift from the traditional black and white discs. It will have 3 different difficulty levels i.e. Easy, Medium and Hard. Player can unlock new custom boards and discs by earning and spending diamonds (incentive and appreciation of playing the game more often) after beating another player or the computer. The player when playing against the player can add comments that would get deleted or fade away shortly. The board game environment is three dimensional giving a realistic simulation. The product is designed and implemented using the Unity Game Engine’s version 2019.1.14f1 (64-bit). The language used for the implementation is C# | en_US |
