Abstract: The dissertation work includes 2D seismic data interpretation, Petro physical analysis and seismic attributes of Fimkassar area using well logs data and 2D seismic data to delineate the possible reservoir rocks in the study area. Study area is the part of Potwar Plateau, Upper Indus Basin which is regarded as Fimkassar oil filed. 2D seismic lines have been used in the current project and properly interpreted to know the structural style of study area. The structural interpretation of seismic lines under marking of six faults suggest that the area lies in the compressional regime and having Pop up Structure. Followed by Petrophysical analysis and Attributes analysis. Data of Fimkassar 02 Well has been used to depict the probable hydrocarbon producing reservoir of the study area. It has been confirmed from the Petrophysical analysis that the Eocene carbonates (Sakesar Limestone) present in study area are the most producing reservoir. Thrusted anticlines and Pop up structures are the most prominent structure of Potwar area due to different tectonic episodes. As the Sakesar limestone has been confirmed from the Petrophysical properties (resistivity) that Sakesar limestone is a fractured limestone in the study area. Seismic attributes analysis of seismic section helps in enhance identification of the different lithological boundaries and also confirmed the structural disturbance in the study area
