Abstract: In this project, we design FPGA based digital Traffic Light Control system to manage the traffic according to rash hours. The implementation is based on real junctions of traffic light which are present in Pakistan and all over the world. The TLC consists of red, yellow and green light. The proposed design is efficient and is implemented on FPGA. This system is implemented through the chip XC6SLX9 and also tests the simulation results. In future other improvements are also possible like addition of pedestrian lights and also to manage traffic conditions of different locations and different type of junctions.
