Abstract: A 30 fold migrated seismic section along a line (904-MWI-29) has been provided by OGDC. This line oriented along SW - NE in Mianwali area. There are fifth reflectors Rl R2 R3 Rt& Rs marked on section and , ., - , derived value show that the reflector Rl is present within the Siwalik group while R2, R3, ~ & Rs are separating the Miocene, Top Eocene, Top Mesozoic and Cambrian. Estimated Dix Average velocity infonnation on different vibroseis points (as a function of time) on the line was available, and was used to construct Iso-velocity map demonstrating velocity changes in different sequences. Vertical variations in velocity are attributed to formational changes while lateral velocity changes (increase from east to west) are due to variation in composition and/or physical characteristics of rocks. Depth section constructed using Dix average velocity as compared to other velocities (mean-line velocities, constant velocities) gives better results and shows that the reflectors are conformable and dipping towards south we
