Abstract: The department of Earth science, Qauid-e-Azam University provided the migrated seismic section of Biterisum area. This is the migrated processed 70 fold seismic section ofline 966-BTM-29. Orientation extends from SE-NW direction. The section comprised of a total of vibroseis points from 110-399 which are used for interpretation.RMS and Interval velocities computed during processing are also provided with the seismic section at selected CDP's (common depth point) and are used for the calculation average velocities to prepare the time section into depth section from the given section. For the interpretation of seismic data six reflectors R1, R2, R3 , R4, R5, and R6 are marked due to their prominent reflection. The reflectors are named on the basis of generalized stratigraphy of Biterisum block. Six nOlmal faults have been identified on the section on the bases of discontinuity in reflectors, which are making horst and graben structures in the area. I Rock physics is used to establish relationship between seismic expression and the physical propeliies of rocks. For establishing the rock physics relationship, well data of ICHRRI-01 is used. Impedance logs, resistivity logs and density logs have been calculated. Impedance logs are suggesting that it is higher in areas where Sandstone IS dominant and low in areas where shale is dominant. Comparision of resistivity and impedance showing that the places of hydrocarbons have low impedance and high resistivity and vice versa. Density and depth relationship is established to recognized different lithologies.
