Abstract: | Talpur dynasty ruled over Sindh and had built several palaces. They lived in royal palaces. Their palaces are constructed with their prosperous interests and used the materials in the buildings due to show their different lifestyles from the other dynastic rulers. After the defeat to Kalhora dynasty, Talpur family ruled over Sindh in the lower and upper parts of Sindh. Khairpur was state of upper Sindh. In Khairpur, there are several palaces are located one of them Shahi palace is tremendous piece of Islamic architecture. In the research, the history of Sindh has been discussed from each segmental period of history in chronological order, Pre-history, Proto Hisotry and history. Each period of history has been described till medieval history. In the contact of the research, the history of Talpurs and their rulers have been described in periodically and characteristically achievements. With described of history of Talpur’s in the thesis, the architecture of the Talpur’s heritage has been explained with plates and given detail to trace the characteristic feature of the Muslim architecture. In the architecture of the Talpur’s heritage has the influence of Mughal architecture. It is guessed to see the terms of design and material of construction. Royal Palace’s structure is similar to Shish Mahal of Lahore, to be notified fort mirror work, types of arches, decorative motifs and wide halls. The research is conducted with primary source and secondary source. In the field work conducted interviews from concerned peoples and authority. To explore further, the researcher has collected data to analyze the aim of construction, observed the environment of inclination when monarchs played the melodies in the courts in the mood of enjoyment. |
