The aim of the dissertation is the 2D seismic interpretation of seismic line PC 9029-86 of INDUS OFFSHORE area, was provided by the Department of Earth Science, Q.A. U. Islamabad. The Shot Points Ranges of this line is fi~om 3162-6733 and the part of this line which I interpret isfrom shot points (4161 -5361). To investigate the lateral and vertical variation in the velocity, average velocity and Iso-velocity map was generated. For the interpretation of seismic data Six reflectors are marked on the seismic section and named on the basis of their ages because there is a mixture of Formation and the spec(fic stratigraphy of the area is not done, Which are Reflector 1 (Late Miocene), Reflector 2 (Early Miocene), Reflector 3 (Oligocene), Reflector 4 (Late Eocene), Reflector 5 (Early Eocene) , Reflector 6 (Paleocene) . Interpretation results indicated there IS canyons, channels and valleys in the Indus Offshore area. A time section is produced from the seismic section using the VP points and the two-way-times (TWT) of the reflectors and faults. These average velocities are then used to find the depths of the formations for the Geoseismic Section or Depth Section.en_US
