Abstract: | Tenori sm, a global menace, led to the global war on ten'orism, championed hy the Uni ted States in the backdrop of honible terrorist attacks of 9/ 11 on the World Trade Centre and Pentagon . The incident of 9111 proved to be a watershed in g lobed hi story as it divided the whole world into two main fact ions as perceived by the Bu ~ h administration ' fr iends or foes ' 'with us or with them' . The United States launched ,I global war on terror with spec ial refe rence to sh'ategically important regions like 'vV l' <;l Asia, South Asia and Cenh'al Asia. Central Asia, economically and strateg ically important region , became the hub of American activities against terrori sm. |
