Abstract: This research paper seeks to analyses the rise of China as formidable economic power and its implications for neoliberal order in the theoretical framework of theory of hegemon stability. The liberal international order experienced a paradigm shift after which neoliberalism constituted the defining feature of the international liberal order. The neoliberal order seeking liberalization of global economies and relocation of capital that allowed the China to experience an unprecedented economic growth. The rise of China has again brought the classical dilemma of rise and fall of great powers into the political scene in the twenty-first century. The decline of United States' hegemonic preponderance combined with rise of China, have raised the stakes about the stability and legitimacy of international liberal order. Based on the analysis of existing developments, United States and China are engaged in trade war, the hegemonic war. At the same China to deeply integrated into the existing order, fmds a range of incentives and constraints that prevents China to enact a new order and dismantle the existing order. In the context of extensive existence, China seeks to replace the incumbent hegemon without the radical transfOlmation to enable the conditions of stability for its economic interests.
