dc.description.abstract | Costitution al status of Gilgit Baltistan is a vital and deli ca te nationa l concern, having broad impacts. The equiva lent has stayed in a hold tight situation ever since fr eedom in 1947. As a national approach on a fundam ental level, th e fate of Gilg it Baltistan has been connected to Kashmir Dispute, thinking of it as an integra l part of previous State of Jammu and Kashmir. Be that as it may, ever since November I, 1947 Gilgit Baltistan is being r epresented by Government of Pakistan and from that point forward the area appreciates a unique status under Pakistan . This drawn out hesitation with respect to assurance of political status has come about into fe eling of political hardship and personality emergency to the general population. Sacred status of Gilgit Baltistan incorporates and demands a comprehensive examination of valid perspective, critical bargains relevant to the subject, the methods and decisions of the peak Courts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan on the and general end. An objective and insightful examination of all of these factors reveal that the issue so far has not been given due hugeness and considered in the perfect perspective. With reference to history, post 1840 history of Gilgit Baltistan from a limited point has been considered while picking its political status. The prevalent appraisal which is the most fundamental point in choosing the destiny of nations has been ignored and the area has been controlled through the instrument of organiz ation. The case has been endeavoured in th e courts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Supreme Court of Pakistan with no undeniable outcome; rather the Supreme Court of Pakistan has left the decision concerning the confirmation of its political and hallowed status at the exchange of the Parliament and Executive bodi es. | en_US |
