Abstract: When the basic necessities of life or grievances are not given to the people or community of any special area for a long time, then separatist tendencies grow. There are some grievances like: Clean water, quality of education, health facilities and jobs quota. The southern Punjab region is also suffering from these problems. When these facilities are not given to south Punjab then the people of that region stand in support of the establishment for theSouthern Punjab province. The Saraiki nationalists are demanding it on linguist basis and the other political parties are supporting it on administrative grounds. Two names are suggested to the proposed province: "Saraikistan" by the Saraiki nationalists and "South Punjab" by the political parties. Both names I will used in this paper. This documentintendto salutation of these interrogation: Is there any need for the inauguration of saraikistan province? What are the reasons for emerging this movement? This paper also attempts to investigate the difficulties to the saraikistan province and the role of political parties in this regard.
