Abstract: Harssment at workplace in pakistan is an issue that prevail in almost every organization that hinders the performance of employees. Most of the women do not report the case of harassment in pakistan due to cultural norms and family barriers,but almost seventy percent of the women faces harassment at workplce. Normally the victum do not know about the remedies avalible to them. They can bring there cases to federal Ombudsman for protection against Harassment at workplace. Government of Pakistan has passed an Act for the protection of Women against harassment at workplace which is "The Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace act 2010" this act provide protection to every one against harassment. The fact is females are not only the victim of harassment boys can be too. Federal Ombudsman for protection against harassment provide protection to not only males and females but also to transgender. There are certain cases which are reported, but the ratio of reported cases is much less as compared to the fact that harassment prevail in our society. It is necessary to create awareness among the general public to report the cases of harassment so that the problem should be resolved and everyone should work in a safe and peaceful environment
