Abstract: The profile, QAU-XYZ-Tst' along which the seismic reflection data !s acquired, covers a total distance of 56.4 Kms. To enhance the signal to NOise ratio, the data is processed through a sequence of processing (Page 97). The end product of this processing sequence is a seismic section (Fig 5.2) that depicts two formations and their associated faults. The depth of both formations is increas ing from south to North. i.e. depth of ALPHA formation is changing from 1147.4 m to 1570.5m and the depth of BETA formation varies from 3816.1 m to 4138.4m. This increase may be due to the slope of LOWER INDUS BASIN. Lateral velocity variation indicates the presence of two minor faults in each ALPHA and BETA formation. which are also confirmed by calculating the depth at each CDF.
