Abstract: | Seismic reflection data acqu ired by Oil and Gas Development Corporation (OGDC) a long a pro file oriented in east west direc ti on with 169 shot points numbered as 101 , 102, 103 ... ... . .... 270 was pro vided for interpretation. Seven reflectors have been marked on the seismic section on the bas is o f observed reflection events. For depth sect ion two methods named Dix average velocity method & Mean average line method have been used. In the first method, the velocity & depth of the re fl ectors were calc ul ated, & ISO-velocity map & depth section were prepared. In ISO-velocity map lateral & vertical variations can be observed . In the Mean line method a veloc ity function g raph was obtained by th e g iven CDP data. From this graph a mean line was obtained & depth section was prepared by us ing thi s curve. |
