Abstract: | Miano Gas Field is one of the distinct hydrocarbon producing zone located in Lower Indus Basin, Pakistan. The Lower Goru is the distinct reservoir that is producing hydrocarbons for the last two decades. Lower Goru is the principal hydrocarbon reservoir of Fluvial-deltaic depositional environments. Mianoprospect area is surrounded by a number of gas fields with the great Mari amongst them. At the time when OMV led joint Venture entered the block all fields produced from re latively shallow Tertiary reservoirs. Similar types of structural traps were also expected in Miano area. However, the interpretation of the seismic data acquired in the first campaign soonrevealed that there were no structures at that level. The Seismic Data of Miano Area is given for seismic interpretation. Well Miano-09 is used for seismic to Well correlation. Time and depth Contour maps are also built. In addition, Petrophysical and Facies analysis are the key part of my dissertation. The analysis suggests that Shales of C-Interval may act as Seal Facies. Gamma Ray log of Miano-09 shows coarsening upward Succession. |
