Abstract

In the process of Islamic renaissance, it is essentia l to make fu ll use of the modern technology. Keepin g t his in view, the decision of QUAID-I -AZAM University to computerized the Reservation and parcel system of Malakwal railway station was a big step ahead. The main objective was to develop a prompt and efficient computer Based system, which id capable of replacing the present System. This system will maintain complete records of Reservation & parcel departments. The information will retrieve from the database in the form of queries and reports. The infromation stored in database will be manipulated with the help of various form layout designed for the system . The developed system will possess all the capabilities of relational database system.
