Integrated messaging system

Abstract

Th is project is aimed at R&D in the field of Real Time Communications and Voice over Inte rnet protocol by fo llowing very rich and robu st H.323 protocol for Integrated Messaging usi ng the Microsoft based platfo rms, li ke MS Windows XP Profess ional. The system has two main parts. The Audio Call Hand li ng, Sendi ng Notifi cations. The first part of the system is concerned with audio ca ll handlin g. This part of the system rece ives audio call s, plays greetings messages to ca llers and stores their vo ice messages. This module behaves like a global answering machin e. The second part of the system provid es notifi cation message sending. This is an important part of the Integrated Messaging System. The users are notifi ed by sending different kind of messages to make them aware of th eir new messages. The SDK's like openH323 and PWLib are that provide ri ch set of API's for call feat ures over packet switched networks. The TOE used are Microsoft® Visual Studio.Net and Tool to be used are Visual C++ .NET.
