Abstract: | In this research, children basic education and socialization has been analyzed in the context of early childhood development centers. These centers work for the shaping of acceptable child-behavior in mainstream society. These centers not only work for socialization and shaping of children-behavior but also guide parents specially mothers regarding the nourishment and socialization of their children and also looking for the changes occur in mother’s behavior due to early childhood centers. Children get basic socialization from family and from surroundings. In this study I explore that, the process of socialization has been taken through such development centers which help the mother to socialize their children effectively but in our culture role of a mother is considered as a normal concept which is experienced and learn through childhood practices, society, and family. It is a mind frame of our culture that mothers do not required any training for children growth and development but ECD centers help mothers in how to do good parenting and take care of their children and how to provide them good educational atmosphere. Which in this research has been analyzed though the techniques of the qualitative research methods. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted from those respondents who work for early childhood development in early childhood development centers. Most of the respondents were satisfied from the education of these centers because they shape their children behavior which is consider to be acceptable in the context of socio-religious and socio-cultural environment of the city. Positive responses from such centers overcome the burden of parenting in the area. However, detailed description of methodology and analyses has been described in chapter sequencing. Moreover, researcher has opted one of the village of Gilgit city which is sherqilla village district Ghizer as a local for present research in order to address the research question of the present topic.
