Abstract: This study explores the role of Madrassah education in women empowerment. This study explains the perception of the women regarding Madrassah education. Their role in society, their experience with Madrassah, and the ways through which they fulfill their responsibilities in detail. This study explores how women are empowered through the teachings of the Madrassah. An anthropological qualitative method was used for data collection. In qualitative methods such as purposive sampling, snowball sampling, in-depth interviewing, have been used to understand the true picture of Madrassah. The pre and post transformations that women have experienced after completing Madrassah education is discussed in detail. Findings show that there are different reasons for joining the Madrassah, which is self-interest, some are inspired by their parents, some join Madrassah due to the boarding system and low cost. Women‟s having good experience with the madrassahs, they easily adjust to every environment. The Muhtamim of Madrassah having a dominant role in madrassah. Women apply the educations of a Madrassah in their daily life through following the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, offering prayers at time, give respect to elders, perform their duties, and fulfill the rights of parents. through showing obedience towards their families. Madrassah socially empowers the women.
