Salon Management System

Abstract

This project is aimed at developing a complete online salon management system for use in the salon industry which will allow the salon to quickly and easily manage an online menu which customer can browse and use to place appointments, orders with just a few clicks. The customers will have to choose whether they want the products to be delivered to them or they want to scedule a appointments for service like haircut. There will be a system admin who will have the right to add and manage staff accounts and admin can also check appointment bookings from customers.Admin can add services , remove srevices , and edit services. He can also add items for store , He can edit them , delete them , and check stock as well. There will be a login for staff as well where staff can check there appointments and they can also apply for a future leave. Admin can allow leave or he can reject. The development of this system will be based on SDLC with PHP and HTML & Bootstrap 4 is used for designing the theme of a project while MySQL server is the database of the system. HTML language is advantageous due to its easy to use and learn validation properties while MySQL has better advanced features and properties, has good security, is open source, and has cross-platform operability
