Hostel Management System

Abstract

Hostel Management System has been in existence in Pakistan but in QAU this system is manual.Online approaches to Hostel Management System provide morebenefit to students as well as Administration.This system helps students for their room allotment in hostel without facing difficulties.At the time when student will be selected for admission the desiring student can apply online for Internal Hostel. The student can apply on the basis of student id i.e registration number which he/she gets from Department. • The Administration will have all the registeredstudents’ data.When student submit department fees i.e after confirmation of his/her admission;department provide student’s id to hostel Administration. • On the basis of studentid Administration will generate fee voucher and upload to students respectively. • On the basis of Registration number student can apply for hostel and check their application status online. When student application form is verified from admin and hostel staff room will be allotted to the student and he/she will get a confirmation notification of hostel and room no. Administration alsoMonitor those students who enter in hostel and do their different activities.In this way students come to hostel from far off areas of Pakistan and some from foreign countries will get room easily in hostel. • The system is developed for distributed environment. I have used latest technologies which have best features to suit with our system. Java is an Object oriented programming language with concurrent, simple and platform independent. The best frameworks for fast development (Spring Boot), spring security for authentications and authorizations and one of the best distributed supported front end typescript language React.js.
