Abstract: This research work is devoted to the archaeological objects which are placed at the Department of Archaeology and Museums, Islamabad (DOAM). The said collection is consisted of confiscated objects. Theme of collection was more specifically on terracotta human figurines; the projected collection was not studied in detail with reference to its scientific study. The documentation of objects was not carried out. Current research is the first step towards its documentation. The collection was classified based on making techniques and the facial representation. It holds a rich culture with-in it. The figurines have been studied scientifically in the light already documented archaeological objects of Mehrgarh Baluchistan. This artwork is significant as it is among the pioneer art works here in Indian sub-continent. Now we can know the keen detail about the indigenous culture i.e. Their way of living, their style, their other arts, ornamentation etc. During this work these figurines were analysed to know about their artistic approach, the material used, the versatility among them, the variable styles etc. The other aim is also to document them based on their chronology and stylistic approach.
