Abstract: The study of Stucco Art and Architecture of votive stupa identified the techniques, classification and iconography of the various type of Buddhist and non-Buddhist deities carved on the stupas at Jaulian. Over all the research entails my interest in pursuing the specific topic. Taxila valley has attained great historical and cultural significance due to Gandharan art and particularly stucco art. As well as Taxila valley has gained a distinct name owing to the fact that it is rich in history of Buddhist art and architecture since centuries. Various Buddha images, animal figures, gods and female donors have been classified. The stylistic elaborations in the representation of garments, as well as their detailed iconographical significance, in Buddha's depictions of various postures. These characteristics represent the cultural diversity in local traditions practised by Buddhist believers in the Gandhara region from the second to fifth century CE. Aside from that, these images convey a high level of artistic quality, socioeconomic stability, and devotion to Buddhist cults. Moreover the current situation, measurements and conditions of deities and figures has been discussed. In addition to that, the 27 stupas and their current conditions have been discussed with requiring details. Research on Buddhist art and architecture reveals their cultural and religious significance. The attributes of most Buddha pictures were found to be similar to those found in Mohra Moradu monastery. This study generated substantial findings that helped the researcher to learn more about the historical significance of stucco art as a medium of material. The scope of this research only covers the study of Stucco Art and Architecture on votive stupas. As well as this research will help to explore about the socio cultural significance of Buddhist period and also their religious values.
