Abstract: | Pakistan starts ofT the journey with the wrong foot by promoting an institution over the rest of the state's apparatuses. This article argues that the institutional imbalance in Pakistan would further exacerbate the already distressed politica l system if not addressed on time. The inequal treatment of the institutions by the political leadership of Pakistan is deeply entrenched in the riddled pre and post-colonial history of the state. In analyz ing the future of Pakistan's institutional good governance, it is indispensable to have past historical knowledge and facts of the institutional approaches and reforms that have been applied to the system. The article concludes that interventions and intrusions of an institution in other's business would fu rther beleaguer the state's political and administrative systems, it requires evolutionary process by refonning the old-fashi oned institutional structure with the support and back up of the masses. |
