Abstract: | India and Pakistan have gone through very uneasy relationship from the very beginning. Being the closest neighbors they are miles apart in showing their friendliness. The adversarial relations between the two countries have effected their development process by diverting their resources into military use as they have impeded the growth of a co-operative framework of relations in the region as a whole. Even after the miseries of three major wars, their relations have still not made any advance beyond their traditional mutual suspicion distrust and fear of each other. The efforts made at improvement have always been tampered by their conflicting perception of each other's intentions and notions. |
