PERCEPTION ABOUT SELF-MEDICATION AND ANTIBIOTICS RESISTANCE AMONG THE STUDENTS OF QUAID-I-AZAM UNIVERSITY, ISLAMABAD

Abstract

The key purpose o/this research is to examine student's perception about selj~ medication and antibiotics and its side effects another purpose of this research is to know the basic reasons behind self-medication il1 QA U, Islamabad. Because the youth p lay the vital role for nation building so without a good physical and menta! health it 's not possible. The researcher used ended questionnaire to collect the data. A sample of 150 respondents was taken jar the data collection. Then the data was analyzed thr01lgh SPSS (~· ti tical package for social sciences.) The questionnaire l\Ias signified with the help of Frequency distribution tables, cross tabulation and hypothesis testing. A survey including 150 respondentsji-om QA U, Islall1 abad has been conducted for this research and primary research has been carried out to get a better outcome. The results illustrated that students take self medication only for the sake of to save their time and money during the very busy schedule of the study.
