Abstract: | This thesis dissertation is attempted to address the role and Women Empowerment through the tourism of Hunza Karimabad city. The research addresses the economic, social, religious and cultural discrimination of the Women in the tourism of the Hunza Karimabad city. This thesis dissertation significantly focuses on the problems and challenges of the women in the tourism areas, markets, bazars of the Hunza Karimabad city. In Karimabad, mostly women are working in the tourism sector and tourism is one of the most neglected research areas. This research gap has been focused of the study. Due to research limitations and shortage of time in person in-depth interviews were conducted in the district Hunza Karimabad and data of this study was analyzed using the thematic analysis. The key findings of this study are suggested that gender division of labor and exploitation of women worker is prevalent in the areas of Karimabad. This study highlights how systematically women are exploited by the capitalist, natives and tourists’ people in the tourism sector. In this study Marxism and Women Empowerment theory is selected as the main theoretical frame work of this research. The main aim of this research is to highlights the how women of the Karimabad facing the violence, economic exploitations, social and cultural discriminations on the base of gender, caste and religion in the tourism sector of the district Hunza Karimabad. The key findings of this research suggest that women of Karimabad are living in the miserable and deportable condition in the Hunza. The road map and recommendations are highlighted in this study as Government, NGOs and, policy makers should introduce the gender based friendly environment and workplace. Security should be introduced in the tourism sector ix of the Hunza Karimabad as women of the Karimabad should be empowered from the tourism.
