Abstract: The present research was conducted to indicate the impacts of parental involvement on children academics. Parental involvement is considered as the most important factor in children’s learning at schools. It has been observed that parental involvement has been influenced by different factors, it was explored that those parents who attend parent teacher meetings and give more time with proper attention to their children, so these children show significant improvement in their academic performance. The study indicates that there is direct a relationship between emotional and academic concerns. In view of parent children relationship, Vygostsky theory of cognitive development has been utilized to analyze the impact of parental involvement in children academic performance. Quantitative approach has been used to conduct the research; the data was entered by using the SPSS. The data was gathered from the sector of F-7 Islamabad. Questionnaires were filled by the parents living in F7 sector to explore the relationship between the variables of the present research. The target population was the parents whose children were studying in government and private schools to generate a comparison. The research reveals the extent of parental involvement in children academic performance
