Web hosting plan and billing manager for comsats internet services

Abstract

This report describes the software for web hosting professionals to manage the billing systems of their hosting plan for customers. Web hosting companies that provide dedicated and shared hosting facilities extend various prices to the customers based on the options they can choose for hosting their sites. Web hosts package their items into groups with different prices. This report describes in detail the complete plan and billing system for the customers where they can perform an online transaction to increase their space balance in the system. Part of the software provides the complete reporting interface for the web hosts and customers for their billing status and option to alter their hosting plans. Web hosting plan manager is the online system and it contains a periodic reminder system that is email notification for the customers in case of payment due. Platform used for the system implementation is Windows 2000 Professional. SQL Server 2000 is used as backend database. User interface programming is carried out through IITML and JavaScript. Active Server Pages technology is used fro the system logic programming of the Web hosting plan and billing manager.
