Objectives: This study examines the interrelationship of religious faith, affirmative actions, and environmental conservation within Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs) in Islamabad. Methodology: This study utilises a mixed-method approach to investigate the efficacy of faith based affirmative actions, the involvement of faith-based organisations (FBOs) in environmental conservation efforts, and the influence of religion teachings on community participation. The examination of the connection is facilitated by the use of qualitative data obtained from interviews conducted with representatives from churches, mosques, and temples, as well as quantitative data derived from a sample of 60 participants. Data Analysis: This combined approach allows for a thorough analysis of several themes pertaining to the subject matter. Findings: The findings underscore the notable impact of religion teachings in promoting affirmative activities towards environmental conservation. Faith-based organisations Partially fulfil the roles of educators, catalysts for change, and minimum collaborators in advocating for environmentally sustainable behaviours. This study highlights the potential for faith-based initiatives to drive revolutionary change in promoting sustainable practises and fostering collective environmental action. Keywords: Affirmative Action, Environmental Conservation, Faith-Based Organization (FBOs), Community Engagement, Sustainable behaviour.en_US
