Abstract: | Federally Administered Tribal Area (FAT A) situated in Pakistan is compnses of seven agencies; Orakzai, South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Muhmand, Bajuar, Kurram and Khyber and six Frontier Regions; FR-Peshawar, FR-Batmu, FR-Lakki Marwat, FR-Tank, FR-Kohat and FR-Dera Ismail Khan. The total area of FATA is 27220kms which is 3.42% of the total area of Pakistan. FATA is lying between Pakistan-Afghanistan border and is settled in the areas of Khyber Pakhhmkhwa (KP) and Baluchistan province. Moreover, Pakistan and Afghanistan share a common border of 1600 miles; 750 miles in Baluchistan and 850 miles in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. |
