REAL TIME DATA VISUALIZER AND LAN ACTIVITY MONITORING

Abstract

The Real Time Data Visualizer is the software that is used to capture the raw packet on the network and visualize it in different user readable formats (ASCII, Bin, and Hex). Software capture the raw packets on the network and visualize it in different user formats, filter the packets according to the protocols defined, network and protocol analyzer. Database will be maintained in case of the incoming packet and the user view the data through some Graphical User Interface for real time visualization. Local Area Network (LAN) Activity Monitoring is the software that keeps the log of all major activities performed on LAN. Software keeps record of all the major activities performed by the user on any system in a specific network (LAN). Records of the whole activity are kept in a central database at server, which is only accessible by the Administrator. On a query, the report based on the log, maintained by the database, is generated. This report includes the snapshot of desktop along with time they are taken, the start / stop / active time for any application, list of web sites visited, two way chat text and all key strokes pressed. This report also includes the record with user login time, its login name along with System Name.
