e-SMS IS a module of Enterprise Resource Planning for any pharmaceutical industry. e-SMS IS designed to improve sales performance and dTectiveness lor an y pharmaceutical industry and provide 360-degree visibility and co ntrol of top management of the organi zation across the globe. This modul e lets fie ld-force track through web and man age all customer and vendor/supp li er touch points. Organization ca n enabl e sa les anci customer supp0l1 operations to work collaboratively to achieve . total customer satisfaction The system ha s two sections, the tlrst section is working within the organi zation and it is impl emented in Visual Basic 6.0 and Crystal Report 8.0 and the second section IS web-based for tracking and managing the field-force and this section is implemented In Active Server Pages 3.0, Java Script, HTML and SQL Server 2000 is used for database. The user of the system can easily manage the information of customers, vendors, products, employees, doctors, daily call repol1s and sale and the system has capability of generating different types of reports and inquiries.
