Abstract: | Transmission and reflection of power through a uniaxial anisotropic chiral slab which is sandwiched between two different chiral metamaterials are discussed. Behaviors of reflected and transmitted power are analyzed by varying the parameters of host medium and medium occupying the slab. The formulas derived for reflected and transmitted power are used to investigate the focusing characteristics of cylindrical reflector using Maslov’s method. Numerical results are presented to discuss the behavior of reflected and transmitted power from anisotropic chiral slab and focusing of field from the parabolic reflector. It has been shown that transmission, reflection and focusing of power can be controlled by the material parameters. |
